"Patron of the Arts" Custom Awards

The Patron of the Arts Award is a Bennett custom award that is presented annually to a person who has contributed significantly to the support of persons or projects that encourage and recognize commitment to excellence in the film industry. The Patron of the Arts Award, designed by Bennett Awards artist Tom Bennett, is based on a stylized representation of a film lens. The custom award is presented each year by the Screen Actor Guild Foundation. Past recipients include movie executive Sherry Lansing (2008), movie industry icon Jerry Weintraub (2007) and Acadamy Award-winning director Sydney Pollock (2006).
