Bennett Recognition Award Selected by Harvard Medical School & Mass General Hospital for Prestigious Award

The Bennett recognition award "Honor" was recently selected by Harvard Medical School and Mass General Hospital (MGH) as the basis for a recognition award presented to Dr. Ralph Weissleder, MS, PhD, in honor of his induction into the US National Academies Institute of Medicine. This is one of the highest honors in the field of health and medicine. Dr. Weissleder is a professor at Harvard Medical School, and the director of the MGH Center for Systems Biology (CSB), a major node in the Harvard-wide Program in System Biology.

This unique award was given to Dr. Weissleder by his colleagues and employees at the CSB, and presented by CSB co-director Dennis Brown, PhD. The recognition award was presented to Dr. Weissleder at a CSB meeting held October 27, 2009 at the CSB in Boston, Mass.
