The ”Freedom MKS” recognition awards were originally designed for the Atlanta Para Olympics in 2000. These achievement awards depict a figure that is rising out of a circular form at its base. The figure is stretching forward as if crossing a finish line in a race, its arms thrown out in exultation. These unique awards, designed by artist MK Shannon, stand 14” tall (including their marble base). The Freedom MKS sculpture awards are created in pewter, and available in one of three finishes: 1) a brushed pewter finish; 2) silver plating; and 3) gold plating (shown in the photo above). Freedom MKS’s black marble base can be customized with an engraving of your choice for a small additional charge.
