The ”Freedom MKS” recognition award was originally designed for the Atlanta Para Olympics in 2000. This award depicts a figure that is rising out of a circular form at its base. The figure is stretching forward as if crossing a finish line in a race, its arms thrown out in exultation. This unique award, designed by artist MK Shannon, stands 14” tall (including its marble base). The Freedom MKS sculpture award is created in pewter, and available in one of three finishes: 1) a brushed pewter finish; 2) silver plating; and 3) gold plating (shown in the photo above). Freedom MKS’s black marble base can be customized with an engraving of your choice for a small additional charge.
