Bennett Produces Custom Awards for Sandra Brown “ELF” Award

Bennett Awards recently produced a custom award for a recognition award that is presented on an annual basis honoring NY Times bestselling author Sandra Brown. This achievement award, called the “Sandra Brown Excellence in Literary Fiction Award”, was established by Sandra Brown and her husband, award-winning documentarian Michael Brown. The award is presented each year to a Texas Christian University student who demonstrates both academic excellence and significant potential as a fiction writer. Along with these custom awards, each recipient also receives a full-tuition endowed scholarship.

Bennett Awards created the original custom awards design working in conjunction with Michael Brown. The unique awards design features a whimsical elf standing next to a stack of books. These custom awards are cast in bronze, and mounted on a black marble base that is engraved with the name of the award and name of the recipient. This year’s recipient of this prestigious sculpture award was Travis Freeman.

Sandra Brown is the world-renowned author of more than 70 novels, 59 of which have appeared on the New York Times bestselling list. She has sold over 70 million books, and received an honorary doctorate from Texas Christian University.
