Custom Award & Monumental Sculpture Designed for BloodSource

Bennett Awards recently completed a unique custom awards project for BloodSource, one of the premier blood centers and transfusion support organizations in the world. In the past, Bennett Awards created a custom awards design for BloodSource that was based on their corporate logo. BloodSource has presented these unique sculpture awards for over the last eight years. Recently, they built a new headquarters building in Sacramento. They wanted to create a large monumental sculpture for the front of this building using the same design that they we have used for their custom awards.

Bennett Awards artist Tom Bennett worked closely with Bloodsource to make this desire a reality. He designed a 6' x 5' monumental sculpture with the same basic design as their sculpture awards. The monumental sculpture was created out of bronze and mounted on a 3' concrete base. The concrete base incorporated an etching of the logo, logotype and corporate slogan.

The monumental sculpture was unveiled during BloodSource's special commemoration of their new headquarters on October 23, 2008. In addition, Bennett Awards created a smaller custom award for one of the project's major benefactors.
